Farriery experience. Practical business support.
Having trained apprentices, employed farriers and experienced the pressures of running a busy business, I understand how easily the day-to-day work can take over.
Working with a business coach helped me look more closely at what I wanted my business to provide — and what needed to change to make that possible.
Forge Smart brings that learning together with practical farriery experience, helping other farriers make informed changes in their own businesses.

Which programme should I choose?

How much time will I need?
You’ll need time to work through the material and apply the exercises to your own business. The Pricing Programme runs over ten months. Price Accelerator contains eight modules that you can work through at your own pace. Check the programme pages for more information about the format.
Will you tell me what to charge?
You’ll use your own costs, financial needs and business circumstances to develop your pricing. The aim is to help you understand and explain your charges with a clear basis for your decisions.
Can I take part from outside the UK?
Yes. Forge Smart welcomes farriers from different countries. You’ll apply the business principles to your own circumstances, using local advice where tax, legal or regulatory requirements differ.
